  • Last week I spent a week at Sandals Negril in Jamaica and it was wonderful.  The beach is a long walking beach of soft white sand.  We stayed in their swim up suite with a private entrance--It was amazing.  Although, all of their rooms are really nice. We ate at four out of their six restaraunts and each one was really excellent.  I especially liked the Italian restuaraunt but Barefoot By The Sea, their steak and seafood restaraunt was also very good.  I enjoyed Kimonos, their tepinyaki restaraunt and the buffet, The Bayside, was excellent.  All the food was soooo good.   We enjoyed all the activities during the day as well as snorkeling and tubing trips.  You can also water ski, scuba, use their kayaks, hobie cats and aqua trykes and all of this is included.  The night time entertainment was fun especially  the beach party and buffet.  We enjoyed karaoke, a fabulous reggae band, the steel drum bands and they even had djs that made the nights fun.  Even though I have been to Jamaica many times including my honeymoon to Sandals Ocho, I think this one may be one of the most fun trips I have been on.

Call me for  information on Jamaica or any of the Sandals properties.  I would love to help you plan the trip of a lifetime.

  • Ten days in the Riviera Maya

We just returned from ten days in the Riviera Maya with beautiful weather and the friendliest people you will ever meet.  The beaches here are so beautiful but ask about the beach at your property to insure it is one of the best.  We stayed at four resorts on this trip and my favorites were Eldorado Meroma and Riu Palace Riviera Maya.  It really depends on what you're looking for.  The beaches are gorgeous, the food was amazing, and the staffs were wonderful, friendly and accomodating to our every need.  We went to XPLOR and took a snorkeling trip from the Riu both which were really fun.

A trip to this area would not be complete without a night time visit to Playa del Carmen for shopping and a drink at one of its many famous bars like Carlos and Charlies or Margaritaville.   Fifth Avenue is a beautiful street with more shopping than you could ever get through.  Plan to go in the evening when it is the most lively and much cooler.

This was our tenth trip to Cancun/Riviera Maya and we would love to tell you much more about what to do and what to see and the best places to stay.
